Inclusive Fitness Coalition (IFC) |
For more than 50 million Americans with disabilities living in the United States, the lack of inclusion in physical activity, sports and recreation limits their opportunity to improve their health and enjoy one of life's greatest pastimes. To help advance this public health priority, the Inclusive Fitness Coalition (IFC) was formed to address policy, environmental, and societal issues associated with the lack of access to physical activity among people with disabilities. Our current task forces are focused on issues related to Health and Fitness Clubs, Inclusive Play, and Policy.
